In Summer 2024, Central’s Evening Women’s Bible study will study the compelling life of the prophet Elijah from 1 & 2 Kings.
“Elijah blasted like a whirlwind into Israel’s history, at a time of idolatry, evil, contempt for God’s word and servants. And through Elijah, God powerfully confronted and exposed Israel’s worthless religion. Yet Elijah was a man just like us. Despite his dramatic story, he was no superhero: he suffered weakness, failure, frustration and anxiety. No so much a mighty man as a man who served the mighty God…”
We meet Wednesdays 6:00-7:30 pm in the *Bridge Room, beginning June 5 and continuing through July 10. Join us for six weeks of discussion, encouragement, and prayer!
Cost for the study guide is $6 (scholarships are available). Please register below. We will distribute study guides at our first meeting, or you may contact the church office to arrange pick up.
*The Bridge Room is located off the upper level of the parking garage. Look for the only door across the bridge above the playground.
